Our January-February 1999 MacToday article contained three examples of using JavaScript to capture a mouseOver event and change or display an image on your page. Jump to the following links to see the JavaScript in action. To access the actual script, do a 'save as' under the File menu to save the example page as 'source.' Then open the page in an HTML editor, like BBEdit or use our favorite text editor, Tex-Edit! Example 1: Change an image when the mouse passes over an image. Example 2: Display an image when the mouse passes over a link. Example 3: Display an image when the mouse passes over an image. As always, let Robert or Laura know if you have any comments, suggestions, or recipes. |
